The essential companions for astronomy - Save $15 off separate pricing!
NightWatch - still rated the #1 book for beginning in astronomy. Packed with information, charts of the entire sky and more detailed charts of constellations, designed to help you find those star clusters, double stars, nebula and galaxies with your new scope.
Moon Filter: The moon filter simply cuts the amount of light from the moon, allowing comfortable viewing. Without a neutral density, moon filter, the sunlit moon is too bright for comfortable viewing.
Dual Beam Flashlight - The flashlight can be used in "red mode" for reading your sky charts beside the telescope or changing eyepieces. A white light causes the eyes to dilate and several minutes are required to again become light adapted for observing. For set-up and take-down, the flashlight can be set to "white mode" and used as a regular flashlight.
