For prime focus with a Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope, a SCT photo adapter makes a direct connection to your single lens reflext camera.

A laptop computer is required for operating the Orion Starshoot Autoguider and should also be used for operating the camera. Various software packages are available for camera operations including Images Plus and Nebulosity.

For exposures of more than 30 seconds, a wedge should be used for equatorial alignment.
