SkyWatcher Equinox 80
Used as a GuideScope

The SkyWatcher Equinox 80 can be mounted on most telescopes for use as a guidescope using the Orion Guide Scope rings . Along with the Orion StarShoot Autoguider Ray uses the SkyWatcher Equinox 80 as a guidescope on his William Optics Megrez 110 which is used for astro photography.    All of this is mounted on a SkyWatcher HEQ5 PRO.   Here is his setup.

The SkyWatcher Equinox 80 can be mounted to the Tele Vue 127is with the Orion Guide Scope rings and a 13" dovetail bar.  It is recommended that this arrangement be placed on the SkyWatcher EQ6 PRO mount for best stability.   Below is the arrangement along with the TeleVue Ethos 13mm eyepiece on the Equinox.
