Look to the south west just after sunset on Monday, December 1 to see the night sky's brightest three objects in a beautiful conjunction.

If you have opportunity to locate the relatively new moon earlier in the day, you may be able to also see Venus close to the moon against a dark blue sky.  With binoculars or a telescope you may also be able to spot Jupiter in close proximity.  What a rare treat - to see Jupiter and Venus in the middle of the day.
